Hakki Ozyasa

   Multiculturalism series focuses on different communities in UK such as Asian community, africans, and Europeans. The aim of this project is to document problems and racism in contemporary Britain.           

   This project is going to focus on identity, racism, social problems and religion. i will be starting with people with Asian backgrounds first and next semester will move to other communities. I will interview or talk with Asian people to achieve personal stories from their life’s experiences and explore their identities hereby, I will try to dig deep and uncover their social life problems. In order to show their true identity in front of the camera I will give my subjects total control as to how they want to pose and also allow them to pick a location for the shot. This will all be proposed to them and documented via interviews.
